If you didn’t know about doubling up on ride streak bonuses and streak zone bonuses, here’s a quick breakdown on how they work. Streak bonuses are straight forward. You start a streak by accepting your first ride during the bonus time, you give back to back rides and then you get your bonus after finishing the last ride. Streak zones have a little more nuance to it. With Streak Zones, you have to either start in the designated area or get your first ride from the designated area. Any rides that happen after that will count towards your bonus even if it’s outside of the zone. That also includes when you double up on your bonuses. That means if you follow the tips I’m going to lay out later in this video, you’ll be able to hit the streak bonus twice, or more, while only having to be in the zone once. I’ve tested and proved this to be true. Let’s look at one of my real world examples. It’s four-twenty-two AM and I just finished dropping a passenger off at the airport when I noticed that there’s a five AM zone bonus nearby. The first thing I do is go offline so that I put myself in a position to double up on streak bonuses. I noticed that I have enough time to fill my tank, get some food and use the bathroom in order to make sure that I take away anything that can get in the way of completing the streak bonus. You have to learn to use your time wisely. I get deep inside the zone territory and decide to go online at four fifty four. Because this area is an inner city area, I know that it’s likely that I will get a ride that’s 3-5 minutes away. If I were at home I would go online around four fifty-two instead, since it normally takes me about eight minutes to reach the passenger. These are some strategies you want to keep in mind. My first ride popped up as soon as I went online at four fifty four and the destination is five minutes away. If I get there before five AM, it won’t start the streak bonus. So the solution to this is to take your time. Drive below the speed limit be double cautious at stop signs. Let that yellow light turn red. Do whatever it takes to get there after the time period, because if you don’t, using this real world example, the ride streak wouldn't start until your next ride which would come after you spend eighteen minutes dropping off the current passenger. That would probably take away all your chances of doubling up on streak bonuses. That’s not what we want. Thanks to my strategy, I ended up reaching the passenger at five o’ one. After I drop off my first passenger and pick up the second passenger, I confirm that my streak was started by the first passenger by selecting the last ride option. If your streak was started, it’ll give you a warning letting you know that you have a streak bonus pending and that you should stay online to earn that extra twenty-one dollars. Hit stay online of course. As I pick up the third passenger, you can see that I get paid for the streak bonus and it tells me right there that I should keep driving to start another streak. The problem is, it’s five thirty-nine AM, it’ll take me eight minutes to drop off my third passenger by five forty eight AM. Then it will take me five minutes to reach the passenger by five fifty-three am. Except there really is no problem because the next ride streak actually started once the ride was added to the queue! So even if I were to be late and picked up the passenger after six am, which is outside the streak time, it will still count as long as the ride was added to the queue before the streak time ended.
