In this lecture Maharaj discuss on the narrative involving Krishna and the warriors fighting against the Pandavas. He also shares a purport by Śrīla Prabhupāda emphasizing the dignity of warriors fighting their duty, without fault. Krishna’s lotus-like face plays a central spiritual role, attracting and influencing all who behold it. Maharaj explains the purport- Krishna blesses both the sādhus (devotees) and the dūsaka (non-devotees/neutral persons) alike, showing impartial divine mercy. Upon seeing Krishna’s lotus face, these warriors were spiritually uplifted, achieving liberation to Vikunta (spiritual planet). He also highlights that Krishna’s face embodies a kind of spiritual medicine for the eyes and hearts—all sinful activities, both material and spiritual, are destroyed simply by gazing upon His smile. The real "vision" is through the heart, described as the "best eyes". These eyes are often clouded by the "dust" of material attachments, preventing clear vision of Krishna. Maharaj also empasise on the significance of remembering devotional prayers such as those of Queen Kunti, Prahlada Maharaja, or the Gopīs, is emphasized as a means of awakening remembrance of Krishna in times of distress. Memorizing and meditating on these prayers (even in regional languages) aids in spiritual progress toward Goloka Vrindavan, the highest spiritual abode. A verse from the Second Kanto conveys that one should learn to spiritually "drink" Krishna’s divine beauty through the eyes, purifying the consciousness and dispelling impure desires. Maharaj advises seeing Krishna not as a supplier for personal desires but to appreciate His transcendental beauty with no selfish motivations. Śrīla Prabhupāda emphasizes continuous service to Krishna (24/7) as the most satisfying spiritual life. Reflects that nothing truly belongs to us; serving Krishna is our highest duty. He also talks about devotee association and how it is pivotal for spiritual progress; it is the seed for awakening Krishna consciousness. Asserts one should feel fortunate wherever Krishna places them, practicing humility and service without envy toward advanced devotees.
