Rothbard: Poder y Mercado | Miguel Anxo Bastos

The book "Power and the Market: Government and the Economy" by Murray N. Rothbard is a translation with the participation of Miguel Anxo Bastos and Edward Stringham as prologue writers, Mariano Bas Uribe as translator, and Eduardo Fernández Luiña as co-translator. The rector of this institution, Gabriel Calzada, states that the project took three years to develop and that the content is essential for students of Political Science, Economics, and Social Sciences, as well as those of general interest. The work was presented by Miguel Anxo Bastos, who shared his experience of learning about the author's work. In his opinion, he was a heterodox anarchist, classical liberal, and founder of anarcho-capitalism: a political philosophy that promotes anarchy, understood as the elimination of the state and the protection of individual sovereignty through private property and the free market. He also mentions that the book is part of the context of his work, but that its content merited a separate edition because it integrates politics, economics, political philosophy, moral philosophy, and elements of sociology. Finally, he explains Rothbard's approach to the issue of equality.
