Living with incurable cancer: Marc’s Story | Macmillan Cancer Support
Marc was diagnosed with a rare form of incurable thyroid cancer in March 2020. He was told that if they didn’t operate, he would have just two weeks to live. We’re so glad we were able to support Marc when he needed it most, and beyond grateful that he now gives his time to volunteer at the Macmillan Horizon Centre with his support group to help men affected by cancer. 💚 His story highlights how cancer can disrupt your whole life, and impact far more than your health. He’s one of many incredible individuals we see every day who are leading active, meaningful lives while living with cancer. Our new campaign ‘Whoever You Are, Whatever It Takes’ shines a light on what it really means to be living with a cancer diagnosis in the UK today. Cancer can affect your life in many different ways, so we want to encourage more people to access accurate information and the support they need.
