(Engine Stall, Now Scrapped) Happy Al's Alexander RH Volvo Olympian: V306 JMB

Back in October 2023, Well over a year ago now (I really need to do something about my backlog lol), I attended Wirral Transport Show, the yearly event hosted with the trustees of Wirral Transport Museum, based out of Shore Road (although in previous years, it also included the museum and tramway, which both remain closed at the time of publishing). This Alexander RH Volvo Olympian from December 1999, Which was new to Dublin Bus in Ireland as 99-D-619 / RV619, Was a surprise edition to the event towards the end. It operated for the operator until Early 2010, when it was sold to Happy Al's of Birkenhead, who gave it the English registration of V306 JMB, and a new fleet number, 36. It operated for the company regularly until Summer 2023 (Longer then it did in Dublin by many years!), when it was formally retired from service, just before the schools and colleges went back - It however was briefly reactivated and came to this event under heavy convincing of Al's staff by local enthusiast Nicholas, which ended up being it's last public appearance before being sold to a scrap dealer in Wigan. Attempts were made to purchase it whole from the scrap dealer, but this resulted in him working faster to get it scrapped, and it's believed to be fully gone now.
