Surviving Auschwitz
Max Eisen was 15 years old when officers arrived at his home in the former Czechoslovakia and ordered his entire family to pack up and leave. They were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau, where Eisen eventually lost his entire family. Almost 71 years after his liberation, he details his story in the book, "By Chance Alone: A Remarkable True Story of Courage and Survival at Auschwitz." He joins Steve Paikin to discuss why he believes it's important to keep sharing his story.
