Woodturning a Potbelly Bowl with Chevron Ring

I wanted to do a walnut potbelly bowl with a special feature ring. I made alternating chevrons from strips of padauk, purpleheart and yellowheart and it turned out pretty good. But, I wish that I had made the feature ring slightly taller. I used five 3/8" strips. If you attempt this design, I would recommend using at least seven strips at a minimum. I think you'll be happier with it. As always, thank you for watching. If you haven't yet, please help my channel grow by subscribing. Thank you. I hope you enjoy my videos. --Dan ********************** Design Software: https://woodturnerpro.com Turning Tools: https://carterandsontoolworks.com/ https://www.carterproducts.com/company/ https://www.robert-sorby.co.uk/ Lathe: https://www.teknatool.com/ Wood Suppliers: https://www.bellforestproducts.com/ http://www.cheswoodsales.com/ Turning Supplies: http://www.titebond.com/ https://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/ https://www.mylands.com/wood-finishes https://yorkshire-grit.com/ Misc.
