This is the closest national park tent site to Bangkok, less than 100 kilometers away. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the nature is at its best. You can visit the waterfall during the rainy season for a truly beautiful experience. The waterfall is located in the middle of the park's tent site and lodges. It's a short walk to the waterfall and the nature trail, filled with abundant medicinal plants. (The waterfall is only open during the rainy season.) If you wander in other seasons, you'll encounter rocky outcrops. The tent site here: There's a park entrance fee of 20 baht per adult and 10 baht per child. Those who camp overnight are charged 30 baht per person per night. The staff at Sam Lan Waterfall are free of charge. There are two very clean restrooms, all staffed by cleaning staff. There are dishwashing areas. There's a trash can. There's a smoking area. There's also a convenience store. A restaurant. Recommended dishes are Sam Lan fried chicken and a coffee shop.
