Tripletail meets Mr. Pitman
Pitman style fountain pens were always a curiosity to most collectors, but to court stenographers they were once upon a time an absolute necessity. Here is a test of how long a fill chamber can be made with the Noodler's Ink ahab-tripletail-neponset style filler unit...and unlike the pens of old, the ink chamber is completely insulated with a layer of air between it and the barrel wall (similar to the effect of a Parker 51 aerometric or Sheaffer touchdown).
