PART 12 of Brickville, CO - TV Tower
After several setbacks waiting for parts to arrive that should have been in my inventory, I’ve (almost… It’s that parts thing again) finally finished the Modular TV Tower (MOC-159874) by “AI3xW40” on Rebrickable.com! This 6009 piece MOC was a joy to build. The original plans called for a working “play function” elevator on the back side of the structure, however I’m all about getting the details/scale right so I sourced more parts and through trial-and-error was able to add the 4th (back) circular side to the tower. I was also able to figure out how to add the circular part of the tower to the back side of the building, creating a visually pleasing continuation of the tower all the way to the ground. That’s what makes LEGO so much fun… You’re only limited by your imagination! I love taking LEGO kits or MOC’s and “enhancing” them to fit my needs. Problem solving is what LEGO is all about!
