Discovering Oman’s Most Underrated Historic Sites 🇴🇲 (Nizwa, Jabreen Castle, Misfah al Abriyyin)

In this episode, we step into Oman’s ancient past, exploring some of the country’s most underrated historic sites while travelling by 4x4 through the mountains. We begin our journey high up at Jebel Hatt Mountain View, waking up to incredible views after spending the night camping under the stars. From here, we head deeper into the mountains to one of Oman’s most breathtaking traditional villages. Our first stop is Misfat Al Abriyeen, a stunning hillside village filled with mud-brick houses, lush palm groves, and ancient falaj irrigation systems. Walking through its narrow pathways truly felt like stepping back in time. Next, we drive to the beautiful Jabrin Castle, one of Oman’s most well-preserved castles, known for its detailed interiors, hidden rooms, and rich history. Finally, we arrive in Nizwa, one of Oman’s most historic and culturally significant cities.
