This is what we visited: Fontaine-de-Vaclouse: a small village nestled in a valley crossed by the crystal-clear Sorge River, where the (easy) walk to its source is very beautiful. Senanque Abbey: A medieval abbey still intact, surrounded by splendid lavender fields. Valensole: A village famous for its lavender fields. Verdon Gorges: Considered one of the highest canyons in Europe, you'll be amazed by the stunning emerald green waters, where a ride on a pedal boat or kayak is a magical experience. Highest vehicular bridge in Europe: on the road to the Verdon Gorges, there's an interesting opportunity to try adrenaline-filled bungee jumping.
