SHORT BLOCK, LONG STORY - 6.0 LS Rebuild PART 1 - UTX

Here at Ugly Truck, we're true to our word - EVERY LITTLE DETAIL! We finally have all the parts back from the machine shop and all the new parts we need to assemble this 6.0L LS. After cleaning everything, we start by installing the camshaft and move on to checking the main bearing clearances. Once we know our main bearings are good, we can install the crankshaft and torque the main caps down. Next, we check piston ring gap and rod bearing clearance, and slip the pistons into the cylinders and torque the rods on the crankshaft. With the pistons installed, we install a new timing set and high volume oil pump, and give the block a fresh coat of paint.
