EL RECTOR DE LA UNGE APERTURA LA SEMANA CIENTÍFICA 2026 LLAMANDO A LA TRANSFORMACIÓN SOCIAL

The National University of Equatorial Guinea (UNGE) kicked off its 2026 Scientific and Cultural Week on Tuesday, under the theme "Science, Technology, and Innovation: Engines for Social Development." The official opening was led by Rector Filiberto Ntutumu Nguema Nchama, who delivered a keynote address focused on the role of science and technology as pillars of national progress. During his speech, the Rector emphasized the need to strengthen human capital and scientific research, urging the university community to prepare professionals capable of meeting the challenges of digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence in today's world.
