潮州青龍古廟，又稱安濟王廟，位於潮州市區南堤外，佔地面積一萬多平方米，是一座承載著深厚歷史文化底蘊的民間信仰場所。 青龍古廟始建於北宋，盛於明代，已有 400 多年歷史。其起源說法多樣，有的認為與北宋時期宋軍平定依智高之亂時青蛇護航有關，也有說法稱與蜀漢永昌太守王伉相關，王伉保土安民有功，被尊為安濟聖王。明代萬曆年間，古廟重修並正式奉入王伉神像，地位更加提升。 古廟建築工藝精湛，潮州木雕、屋頂嵌瓷、石雕等潮州藝術集於一身，廟中潮繡服飾等物件也堪稱潮文化精品，是展示潮州民間工藝的重要地標。廟內供奉著安濟聖王王伉及其大夫人、二夫人神像，還有舍人爺、福德老爺、花公花媽等。 每年農曆正月十三至二十八日的安濟聖王廟會是青龍古廟的重要活動，自清代以後，廟會傳至泰國、馬來西亞、新加坡等國家，成為聯結海外華僑的重要紐帶。廟前香柱如林，城中萬人空巷，爭迎神駕，期間遊花燈、賽潮州大鑼鼓、祭壇前采青藝術競賽、舞龍、舞獅等活動精彩紛呈。2012 年，潮州青龍廟會被列入廣東省第四批省級非物質文化遺產名錄。2024 年初，潮州青龍古廟獲頒“廣東省民間信仰活動場所登記編號證”，從民間自發管理向規範有序管理升級轉變。 Chaozhou Qinglong Ancient Temple, also known as Anji King Temple, is located outside the south embankment of Chaozhou urban area. It covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters and is a folk belief place carrying profound historical and cultural connotations. The Qinglong Ancient Temple was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and flourished in the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 400 years. There are various origin theories. Some people think it is related to the escort of the green snake when the Song army pacified the rebellion of Yi Zhigao in the Northern Song Dynasty. There are also claims that it is related to Wang Kang, the prefect of Yongchang in the Shu Han Dynasty. Wang Kang made contributions to protecting the land and the people and was honored as the Saint King Anji. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the ancient temple was renovated and the statue of Wang Kang was officially enshrined, further enhancing its status. The ancient temple has exquisite architectural craftsmanship. Chaozhou woodcarving, roof inlaid porcelain, stone carving and other Chaozhou arts are all embodied in one. The Chaozhou embroidery costumes and other objects in the temple can also be called fine examples of Chaozhou culture and are an important landmark for displaying Chaozhou folk craftsmanship. Inside the temple are enshrined the statue of Saint King Anji Wang Kang and his first wife and second wife, as well as Grandpa She Ren, Grandpa Fu De, Grandpa Hua and Grandma Hua. The temple fair of Saint King Anji from the 13th to the 28th day of the first lunar month every year is an important activity of the Qinglong Ancient Temple. Since the Qing Dynasty, the temple fair has spread to countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, becoming an important link connecting overseas Chinese. In front of the temple, there are forests of incense pillars. In the city, the streets are empty as everyone comes out to welcome the divine chariot. During this period, activities such as lantern parades, Chaozhou gongs and drums competitions, picking green art competitions in front of the altar, dragon dances, and lion dances are extremely splendid. In 2012, the Chaozhou Qinglong Temple Fair was included in the fourth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage lists in Guangdong Province. In early 2024, the Chaozhou Qinglong Ancient Temple was awarded the "Registration Number Certificate for Folk Belief Activity Places in Guangdong Province", upgrading from spontaneous management by the people to standardized and orderly management.
