Canon XA70 Beach Test Thailand: Camcorder Mistakes

Dagwood takes the Canon XA70 with its 1-inch sensor to the beaches of Thailand for a real-world test. Along the way, he makes a few mistakes, finds a few wins, and stumbles into a colorful seaside food festival packed with Thai snacks, desserts, and vendors. Watch as he experiments with slow motion, low light, and various color profiles, including one called “Beach” that turned out awful! In the end, he discovers a color setting that looks, as Larry David would say "pretty pretty pretty good." It's called "EOS STANDARD" which is Color Profile Number 4. Turns out Beach Mode is probably unlikely appropriate for a beach scene, rather, it makes a dull scene bright like a beach. Counter-intuitive, right? If you are already at a beach DO NOT USE Beach Mode is Dagwood's advice. Was the 1-inch sensor big enough? For daylight hours, certainly. For low light situations? Watch and make your own conclusions. Dagwood's Thailand Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1T1l...
