Thermosyphon Sealant Systems for In-Line Mixers Animation

In this Silverson Mixing Science animation, we explain where and when Thermosyphon Sealant Systems are needed in use with Silverson In-Line Mixers. We have covered single and double mechanical shaft seals in another animation which you can view here:    • Single vs. Double Mechanical Seal Animation   A thermosyphon sealant system would be used with double mechanical shaft seals. If using a liquid other than water as a sealant fluid, for example oil or glycerine, then a thermosyphon system is often required. This lubricates and cools the shaft seals by convection. Watch the animation to find out more about how these systems work.
