Abertillery Park terrace restoration - thank you
A huge thank you to all those that have helped in transforming Abertillery Park terrace. They said it couldn't be done and that it should be condemned, but it just shows what can be done with a bit of positive thinking, hard work and dedication. Thanks so much to Ralph Henderson who has spear-headed this project and steered it through to it's conclusion and the many local people who have either contributed financially or given of their time with the restoration and painting. A very special thank you goes out to Lee Meredith who was a resident of Abertillery and also played rugby for the club, who now resides in Australia, who happened to see a previous video that we put up on YouYube, he was so impressed with what we were trying to achieve, he donated £500 to pay for the paint. It just goes to show what can be achieved when a community come together and make it happen. If you want to get involved with future projects to improve the place that we live in, come and join us - Abertillery Aspiration Group.
