DIY | Easily restoring old rusty sash clamps for Cheap. From Rust to New!

This project is all about revamping, restoring and giving new life to Sash clamps using simple methods to do so. Using vinegar to remove all the rust from the clamps worked as expected and is a cheap and easy method. The first step was to soak the clamps in vinegar for 1 week. After a week I could give them a scrub and then use the Kracher steam cleaner to finish the cleaning process. Once clean I used a metal etch primer to get the clamps ready for paint. I used black metal spray paint the main part of the clamp and then purchased metal paint tinted Dulux Midnight Purple to match the Small Fry brand. This turned out to be an easier project then first thought and I’m super happy with the end result.
