Qu-bit Nebulae v2 and Morphagene comparison
I've had the Qu-bit Nebulae module for several days now and have been working with it to see how it could compliment, or even replace, my existing Make Noise Morphagene module. Both can do granular processing and a mangling of the grains to produce a unique and customized sound, but each have their strengths and weaknesses. I put together this comparison in hopes that it will provide as much of an apples to apples objective view of each and how they go about doing their thing. As a full disclosure, I have had the Morphagene several months and am much more familiar with it, but since I demonstrate the samples with only a bit of knob tweaking on each module, I've tried to keep as much of a sense of "first-time diving in" type of first impression as possible. Oh, and I've added a bit of Magneto effects for fun and some BigSky for ambience in part of the patches.
