Ben Haemhouts was born in Mechelen in 1972 and studied trombone at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. Even before finishing these studies, he became second trombonist with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 19. “Breakfast Melody” is a fresh-sounding musical work for concert band, fanfare and brass band.
