We just love browsing the staged rooms, cuddling the plush toys, smelling candles, trying to pronounce the Swedish product names, grabbing a plateful of meatballs for lunch, and picking up decor items for our little French apartment. As Americans living in Greater Paris, we can get to our nearest IKEA in just about an hour using public transit, and we desperately needed a few things for our home before we welcome some visitors in a few weeks, so we made a day of it!
