Czy roboty będą nas leczyć czy zastępować?
Will robots replace us? Or will they help us live longer and healthier lives? Artificial intelligence in medicine is stirring strong emotions. Some see it as a threat to doctors and patients, others as the greatest revolution in healthcare history. What will it actually be like? Should we be afraid, or should we prepare for an exciting change? In this episode, we speak with Piotr Woźnicki, MD, PhD, who bridges two worlds: medicine and artificial intelligence. He has always had an analytical mind. He excelled in science Olympiads in high school, and his natural curiosity quickly led him towards technology. He taught himself programming during his studies, working summer jobs in small villages in the Norwegian fjords, where there was more silence than distraction between clients. Over time, theory turned into practice. Piotr worked as an AI and machine learning engineer in Polish and international technology companies, creating solutions that have a real impact on people's health. He designed algorithms and libraries for detecting lung lesions in computed tomography images. This work formed the basis of his doctorate in medicine and computer science at the University of Würzburg in Germany. Today, combining the perspectives of a physician and an engineer, he focuses on scaling healthcare solutions through technology. He believes that in the age of artificial intelligence, each of us deserves tools that make health care simple, engaging, and simply enjoyable. At Optimals Health Club, he co-creates technology that translates advanced science into real, everyday decisions, so that health works to our advantage, even when we don't have time for them. In our conversation, we discuss: Will AI replace doctors? How do algorithms help detect diseases faster than humans today? Where is the line between medical support and automation? What will preventive healthcare look like in 10 to 20 years? Should we be afraid of artificial intelligence in healthcare? This episode is for anyone who wants to understand how technology will change our health and how we can benefit from it. Try our app for free! ➡️ app.optimalshealth.com ⬅️
