Barn Find Ferrari SHOCK! £180k Estimate SOLD for £275k! Is the Market Back? Historics Summer Auction
Barn Find Ferrari SHOCK! £180k Estimate... SOLD for £275k! Is the Market Back? Historics Summer Auction I came to Historics Auction expecting to film a fascinating Ferrari Dino barn find... What happened next completely changed the day. A 1972 Ferrari Dino 246GT, estimated at £140,000–£180,000, sparked a bidding war before selling for an incredible £274,560 – almost £95,000 above the top estimate! But that wasn't the only surprise. An Alfa Romeo GTV6 that had spent around 20 years in storage, with visible rust and still needing significant restoration work, also achieved much stronger money than I expected. So, is the classic car market finally beginning to recover? In this video I take you inside Historics Auction, show you both cars, the auction action, and share my thoughts on what these results could mean for Ferrari values and the wider classic car market. What do you think? Did someone overpay for the Dino? Is the Alfa GTV6 becoming the next collectible? Or are we seeing the start of a stronger classic car market? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Footage used from Historics Auction website on the Ferrari listing lot 161. Credit to Historics Auctions - www.historics.co.uk
