Now we get the QX50 which is a stylish compact crossover. Prices range from $36,550 for the PURE FWD model up to $45,150 for the ESSENTIAL AWD trim. Infiniti has a good thing going with its current vehicle styling. Upfront is the familiar family grille along with a nicely sculpted hood and sharp headlights. Down the side is a bold shoulder line which helps the QX50 stand out from other crossovers. Under the hood is a VCT engine which means Variable Compression Turbo. The 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine can adjust its compression ratio. Power checks in at 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a CVT. Fuel economy checks in at 24 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. On the inside of the 2019 Infiniti QX50 ESSENTIAL you get one great upscale interior.
