In this episode of our Van Build Series we show the evolution of our platform bed. It was a project that spanned months, starting while we were framing and ending after we installed the bike trays which was last week's video. In planning for the projects I knew I wanted to put up the upper cabinets and bike trays before the bed to allow more space to move around in the van. It turned in to a real struggle however when we needed to move the bed pieces out with the other van projects we were doing regularly. But had I not finished the bed pieces, we wouldn't have known the exact dimensions for things and when every project plays off each other that wasn't something I wanted to do.
