He is described as devotee of Krishna, Datta and Vajreshwari. Who really is Nityananda? Only a wise person can understand another wise person – no one can deny this truth. Bhagawan Nityananda is unparalleled Siddha-Purusha and a Janma-Siddha,one born with complete realization of His own divine nature. He is an Avadhoota who is capable of guiding yogis to progress on the path of spirituality. He can also be called a Yogacharya. He is Parabrahma. Those who have read, studied and assimilated the essence of Bhagavad Geeta, Guru Geeta, Avadhoota Geeta and Chidākāsh Geeta will understand that Nityananda is not a person but a supreme energy and an eternal tatva. There were a few books on Bhagavan Nityananda, but most of them portrayed Nityananda as Sadhu, Swamy, Rishi or God. Tulasi Amma was the foremost and only disciple to have realized the true tattva of Bhagawan Nityananda and in her Sadgurustavan granth and other compositions, she addressed Him as Avadhoota and Parabrahma. Following the lineage, Param Pujya Swamy Vijayananda is the only devotee who started talking about Nitya Tattva, who elaborated on the Avadhoota Stiti and Parabrahma Stiti of Bhagawan Nityananda. He spent nearly 13-16 years travelling nook and corner of India to meet those blessed people and families who had had the direct grace from Bhagawan, compiled their experiences, studies all the available resources on Bhagawan, and finally The Only Comprehensive Biography of Bhagawan Nityananda manifested as “Avadhoota Bhagawan Nityananda” as a result of his unceasing dedication and selfless devotion and love towards Bhagawan. Reading this book is not just about knowing the events from Bhagawan’s life, but it’s a journey one takes on with Him. There are many devotees from Bhaktimarg who do the Parayan (ritualistic recital) and have experienced many miracles of Bhagawan in their life. Doing the Shravan (listening), Manan (Reflection), and Nididhyasan (Adopting the teachings in one's life) of this Parayan will beget the devotee material and immaterial wealth.
