Joburg demolishes illegal structures at Marble Towers

The City of Johannesburg has intensified its inner-city by-law enforcement campaign, by demolishing illegal structures inside the iconic Marble Towers building. This is due to serious by-law violations. In May, the building's owners approached the Gauteng High Court to try and interdict the city’s plan to remove the structures and close the building.
