Building the Obama Presidential Center: Meet Chicago Women in Trades
As we prepare to break ground on the Obama Presidential Center later this year, get to know one of our partners that will help bring the Center to the South Side of Chicago. Chicago Women in Trades, a member of the We Can Build It Consortium, has advocated and trained women for the last 40 years for careers in the construction industry. The organization is driven by a mission to ensure that all women who want to work with their hands and earn a good living have equal access to information, training, and employment opportunities in the industry.
