How to Grow Carrots for Exhibition & Show
Growing this years Exhibition Show Carrots in the barrels and boxes of sand.I'll show you how I go about coring the holes out to grow the carrots in tubes of compost for a perfectly straight carrot. All of them are filled with sharp sand and a hole is made in these and filled with a simple compost mixture. Each carrot is grown in a single hole and this makes them grow straight and more uniformly. The seed varieties are Sweet Candle for the short ones and New Red Intermediate for the Long ones.
