Archaeologists Found 22 Coffins in an Egyptian Tomb — The Scrolls Were Still Sealed

Archaeologists excavating the courtyard of tomb TT38 near Luxor uncovered a hidden chamber packed with 22 painted wooden coffins, many belonging to singers and chanters who served the god Amun. The coffins contained mummified bodies, while a nearby pottery vessel held eight papyrus scrolls, some still closed with their original clay seals after roughly 3,000 years.
