Aprilia RS660 Extrema: nessuna come lei! || La prova

Aprilia has provided us with the Extrema version of the RS 660, a name that harks back to the 1990s, when it was used for a high-performance version of the RS 125, and to please us, they did so at Misano, on the track. This new version of the RS 660 aims to be something more than the RS 660 we know and have tested several times, and this something is represented by a new livery, carbon components—specifically, a mudguard and belly pan—as well as a complete exhaust designed by SC Project (Aprilia's technical partner in MotoGP). The Extrema was originally a single-seater, but a passenger seat and footpegs are supplied with the bike, while the software for converting the gearbox from street to reverse is standard. This technical package has further reduced the already low kerb weight from 183 to 180 kg. The mechanics remain unchanged; the engine is still the same parallel twin, very similar in concept to the V4 that powers the RSV4 and Tuono, minus the rear cylinders. 270° crankshaft timing, dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, and a six-speed gearbox, 100 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and 67 Nm at 8,500 rpm, guarantee an excellent power-to-weight ratio. Even more excellent for this category are the APRC electronics, engine mapping, traction control, wheelie management, cruise control, a two-way quickshifter, engine braking, and, of course, cornering ABS. There are five riding modes, three for road use and two for the track (Challenge and the customizable Time Attack), all manageable via the handlebar controls and the color TFT panel. Its price is €13,499. Let's see how it goes... Used link https://www.moto.it/moto-usate/aprili...
