President Yoweri Museveni and former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi spoke fondly about each other, reminiscing about their days in the Liberation War. This was at the traditional giveaway of Mbabazi’s niece Bridget Birungi to the Andile Ramaphosa, the son of South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa. The two had fallen out ahead of the 2016 presidential election, with Mbabazi running for President.
