Hacking Ableton Live in Lisp with Scheme for Max
Scheme for Max is a free and open-source extension to Max/MSP that enables you to script and live code Max and Max for Live using s7 Scheme Lisp. You can use s4m for live-coding, building sequencers, generative music, scripting the Live API, making control surfaces, and lots more! In this video I demonstrate the example devices included in Scheme for Max. An Ableton Live specific installation video is here: • Installing Scheme for Max on Ableton Live ... To get s4m, visit the GitHub page and download from the releases tab (on the right). Install the downloads in your Max Packages directory. Note: the audio engine must be on for s4m to run because it runs in the scheduler thread! https://github.com/iainctduncan/schem... To learn s4m, check out the online documentation and e-book: https://iainctduncan.github.io/scheme... https://iainctduncan.github.io/learn-... It would be most appreciated if you can share this with others who might be interested. :-) Happy Hacking! Iain C. T. Duncan
