The University of Huddersfield Brass Band performs Galaxies - An Expedition for Brass Band (Carl Davis arr. Ray Farr) at UniBrass 2023. The band came 7th in the UniBrass Trophy Section 2023. Conductor: Jonathan Beatty The University of Huddersfield Brass Band is formed of over 30 members, both first study brass students, music students from various music courses and students from across the wider University. The band rehearses every Wednesday under the baton of their musical director Jonathan Beatty, in preparation for regular performances in and around their local area. The brass band has adapted and seen regular success with various virtual performances and contests alongside their usual programme over the last few years. UniBrass is a staple part of the band’s calendar, with the students looking forward to organising and planning this annual trip. UniBrass 2023 was hosted by the University of Warwick Brass Society.
