In Your Loving Hands

In Your Loving Hands Anxiety often grows when we carry burdens we were never meant to hold. We try to control tomorrow, solve every problem, protect every person we love, and hold together every fragile plan. But the weight becomes too much for us because we were not created to live as though everything depends on us. This song reminds us of the gentle voice of God calling, “Come, My child.” He does not shame us for being anxious. He invites us near. He reminds us that He is not distant, cold, or unaware. He is our Father. He understands our fears, knows our thoughts, sees our tears, and cares deeply for us. Jesus taught us to look at the birds of the air and remember that our Heavenly Father feeds them. He told us that we are worth far more than they are. If God cares for the sparrow, surely He cares for His children. If He counts our tears, surely He can be trusted with our future. To place our anxiety in His hands is not pretending that our worries are not real. It is choosing to trust that God is greater than them. It is laying down fear, control, and doubt, and breathing again in His presence. It is remembering that the same Father who has been faithful through the years will not leave us now. Our family, our future, our hopes, our plans, and our very lives are safest in His hands. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know the One who holds tomorrow. Because He is near, we can rest. “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 Prayer Father, I place my anxiety in Your loving hands. Forgive me for trying to carry what only You can hold. Remind me that You are near, faithful, and unchanging. Teach me to trust You with my family, my future, my hopes, and my plans. Help me rest in Your care today. Amen.
