Liberian Fried Okra Recipe 🇱🇷🌿 Ingredients: Okra, chopped Blended onion, bell pepper, and habanero pepper mixture Protein of choice (meat, chicken, seafood, or your preferred option) Palm oil (red oil) Seasoning to taste Step 1: Prepare Your Protein Add your protein of choice to a pot. Pour in the blended onion, bell pepper, and habanero pepper mixture, then add a little water. Allow the meat to steam until it becomes fork-tender. Once fully cooked, set the protein aside. You will add it back later. Step 2: Fry the Okra In a pot, heat your palm oil (red oil). Once the oil is hot, add your chopped okra and allow it to fry. Add the blended onion, bell pepper, and habanero pepper mixture, then continue frying. Season according to your taste. After about 15 minutes, add your steamed protein back into the pot and allow everything to fry together on medium-low heat for an additional 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy your delicious Liberian fried okra! 🇱🇷✨
