Stage 4 of the MyWhoosh Champs took us to Hilly Bhutan, where the first major climb quickly revealed how the day was going to unfold. Realising I wasn’t going to be in the top three for our team on the climb, Dana and I chose to ride steady and controlled, working together with another rider to save our legs for the decisive mountain stage tomorrow. It wasn’t a day for big attacks — it was a day for smart racing, conserving energy, and keeping the team’s overall strategy in mind.
