I'm travelling from Ystradgynlais to the Isle Of Wight for the second Bracklesham event of 2026. I get to spend time with fab people in a wonderful event but the weather was not what we were expecting! I Quit Teaching! The Next Chapter In My Life This is a new channel showing what happens when I leave my job as a classroom teacher after many years! As a bass, bass ukulele and ukulele teacher as well as lots of experience as a working musician as well as a music teacher I am now teaching in a different way. I have students all over the world and teach online at times to suit both myself and my students. Along with my husband, we plan on enjoying the next chapter of our lives with our cats and dogs, a campervan and motorhome, living in a very beautiful part of the world - Wales. Taking a leaf out of Elise Ecklund's book, I decided to start making ukulele related vlogs including visits to ukulele festivals, ukulele events and even ukulele shops. As an older female bass player - I've even been mistaken for Carol Kaye (!) - I hope to show that you can be an older bass player whether you are a bass beginner or a bass veteran and keep rocking the world. This new channel Webs World along with my other YouTube channels ‪@Ukulaliens‬ and ‪@UkuleleWales‬ keeps me busy but certainly enjoying life more now.
