This video shows the removal and installation of the Chevrolet Lacetti Nubira drive shaft. Removal does not require removing the brake caliper. Simply loosen the hub-to-drive shaft nut and disconnect the lower ball joint from the lever. Completely draining the transmission fluid is also not necessary. Excess fluid will drain through the drive shaft installation hole. In this case, only one liter of fresh oil is required to top up the fluid. The full fluid capacity of the Chevrolet Lacetti manual transmission is 1.8 liters. A 32mm socket wrench is required for non-standard tools.
