HILUX OVERLAND　【栃木・日光】雨の湯西川から霧降高原へ｜歴史と絶景を巡るHILUXキャンピング旅　TOYOTA HILUX × FOUR WHEEL CAMPERS

梅雨入り直後の栃木県日光市。 今回は湯西川エリアから霧降高原まで、自然と歴史を巡るキャンプ旅へ。 湯西川ダムでは静かな湖と巨大なダムの迫力を体感。 そして今回の旅のメインとなる「平家の里」では、源氏から逃れた平家一族が自然と共に慎ましく暮らした歴史に触れました。 湯西川水の郷では吊り橋を渡り、温泉とランチでひと休み。 川治ダムを経由し、キャンプ地「campin ドロブックル」へ。 この日のキャンプ場は貸切。 雨音をBGMに、アヒージョを作りながら静かなキャンプ時間を楽しみました。 翌日は六方沢展望台を経由して霧降高原へ。 キスゲ平園地では1445段の天空へ続く階段に挑戦。 疲れた足以上に、心を満たしてくれる絶景が待っていました。 派手さはなくても、その土地の歴史と自然に触れることで心が豊かになる。 そんな旅をぜひ最後までお楽しみください。 Just after Japan's rainy season began, I set off on another adventure through Nikko, Tochigi. Starting in the peaceful Yunishigawa area, this journey follows history, mountains, lakes, and quiet campsites. From the impressive Yunishigawa Dam to the historic Heike no Sato, where the Heike clan once lived in harmony with nature after fleeing the Genji, every stop tells a unique story. After relaxing at Yunishigawa Mizu no Sato, I continued to Kawaji Dam before spending a peaceful evening camping at Campin Dorobukkuru. Even in the rain, camping never loses its charm. The next day brought one final challenge—climbing all 1,445 steps of Kirifuri Highlands' Kisuge-daira. The breathtaking scenery made every step worthwhile.
