We'll learn how long each note lasts, and how to play with a metronome. First, we'll review what we learned previously: the length of black notes, half notes, and whole notes. This time, we'll do a practical exercise: matching these types of notes, first by tapping the rhythm with your foot (by tapping your foot on the floor) and second, by using a metronome, which performs the same function as the foot, but in a constant and regular manner. To learn how to play with the metronome and how long each note should last, we'll use Ode to Joy as an example. It's a song we're familiar with from previous tutorials in this course.
