The art of basket weaving has been around for thousands of years. Learn about some of the traditions of the Wenatchi, Nez Perce, and Yakama tribes including how the baskets are made, what they've been used for, and hear some of the stories that are depicted through this woven art as part of Salmon "On-Line". Prior to 2020, when the event was canceled due to Covid, the event included two days for students from schools across Washington and a free public community day that adds outdoor recreation, performances, and more.
