Manchán Magan's death reported on RTÉ News (3rd October 2025)
RTÉ News reports on the death of celebrated writer, broadcaster and documentary maker Manchán Magan. A native of Donnybrook in Dublin, Magan was known as a passionate advocate for the Irish language and produced and presented a series of acclaimed travel documentaries for both RTÉ and TG4, including "No Béarla", which involved him travelling around Ireland speaking only Irish. Magan was only 55 years old when he passed away after a two year battle with prostate cancer. R.I.P. Manchán Magan (1970-2025)
