Science Books I Wish I Read Earlier

I've read probably over a hundred (mostly pop) science books — these are the ones I wish I'd read first. Gordon The Origin of Species (sometimes called ON the Origin, but not in my Penguin edition) by Charles Darwin How To Solve It by George Polya Thinking Physics by Lewis Carroll Epstein and Paul G. Hewitt (Other books: The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins, The Red Queen by Matt Ridley - both great reads!
