Ondomo Ondes Martenot Demonstration
Steve Christie from Vintage Keys Studio demonstrates the Ondomo Ondes Martenot. Also included are a home made (slightly rattly prototype) ‘Metallique’ speaker and a Bozavox (Sonovox replica). This was from an initial run of 100 instruments made by Naoyuki Omo in Tokyo, and came from the Ondes Martenot player (and original owner) Josh Semans. It has his name etched in the face plate. N.B.: This one was purchased secondhand in need of slight repair - obviously a brand new Ondomo (if there should ever be more made) would be built impeccably and work perfectly. See Ondomo.net Video by Louisa Revolta Music and Recording by Steve Christie This video contains excerpts from the original compositions ‘Pegs’ (C) 2001 and ‘Sonata 2943’ (C) 2014 composed by Steven Lloyd Christie and published by Sentric Music.
