I test drove the Peugeot 408. It's a larger hatchback version of the 308, with a more luxurious crossover styling. Its styling is truly stunning, as if it inherited the charm of the 406, which boasted a stunning design in the past. The 1.2-liter gasoline turbo engine delivers ample power for everyday use, but it lacks the power for sporty driving. The larger body has dulled the 308's agility somewhat, but the ride quality is quite luxurious. The price of 46.9 million won is a bit steep.
