Ever Night | 將夜 (Ning Que/Sang Sang) MV: The Way You Are

Note: To view the lyrics, turn the closed captions on. This is my second MV. The first one focuses on Ning Que gradually coming to terms with how he feels about Sang Sang and follows the evolution of their relationship throughout the rest of season one. The theme of this video is similar, although it shows Sang Sang's perspective more than the previous one and focuses more on the love triangle between her, Ning Que, and Shan Shan. I empathized the most with Sang Sang throughout the whole ordeal, and her pain is emphasized here, but I did also feel Shan Shan's pain. She didn't really do anything wrong and she handled Ning Que's rejection with perfect grace. Ning Que is also sympathetic to some extent, since he had been given the impression by Sang Sang that he should, in fact, be finding someone else to marry (before she realized she wouldn't be able to cope with him being romantically involved with someone else).
