Battage du blé à l'ancienne

For the Drieux family in Brouckerque, it's a family affair. Grandfather and father were threshers of wheat and other grains. The children and grandchildren carry on this tradition, even though the trade has largely disappeared since the late 1960s, giving way to combine harvesters. Like pieces of a living museum of the trades and life of yesteryear in our countryside, the tractor, thresher, and baler were out at the Haute-Planche farm in Bourbourg, threshing local wheat.
