How to draw a Chocolate Labrador in pastels | Drawing realistic fur

In this tutorial I'll show how to draw a Chocolate Labrador in pastels. How to draw fur in pastels relies on layers and pencil technique. Drawing a Labrador typically requires us to draw a shine in the fur whilst also keeping the fur soft. I feel that the correct layering process is what achieves this along with how we hold and use the pencil.
